My name is Kris Olsen. I’ve been tattooing for 12 years and run my own private studio in Burleigh Heads, Queensland.

I have a passion for Polynesian/Geometric/Neo-tribal design and that is mostly what I wear on my body. I am focused on expanding my ability to capture all genres of tattooing.

I enjoy the challenge of cover-ups and love the freedom of exciting new pieces. I take great pride in my work and I’m always stoked to be around new tattoos, whether they are mine or someone else’s. I also feel very strongly that all tattoos should be original and unique to the wearer. I prefer to custom design all my pieces so they are a one of a kind. I don’t copy tattoos and feel very strongly about this. As humans we are all very different and our tattoos should be too.

My goals in the industry are to own and run a small business that provides an organic low-key service of custom, abstract and quality tattoos. A space where people check out any pretension at the door and only good positive vibes allowed.

I want to continue to give the absolute best tattoos I possibly can to every single client. Providing them with a tattoo that ticks the box as far as what they imagine, that is modern and crosses boundaries of tattoo genres.
